Antler repairs

An antler is easily repaired using repair or automotive putty. Glue on a broken or replacement part from a spare antler using the putty. If you do not have the broken part or a replacement part, an antler point can be sculpted with the putty. Broken beams, tips and tines are nature’s consequence of deer living in the wild.


Repairs are bonded to the original antler with a post, for a durable and lasting repair.

For this repair , drill an over-sized hole into the antler. Fill the hole with body filler.

As soon as the hole is fille insert twisted gauge copper wire. Hold in place until body filler “kicks” or becomes firm. The antler repair kit works great. My grand daughter accidentally shot one of the tines off of her nice 4xmule deer buck. Luckily we found the point and used the kit to reattach it and fill in the missing parts.


It came out so well that no one could tell where the damage had been. A great and easy to use product. I highly recommend it.

We can very accurately recreate antlers by either molding them for a duplicate of an existing rack or we can even recreate antlers from photos or even just measurements.
