La community service

Please contact the community service referral agency that assigned you to a service provider to report any complaints or issues you encountered in your community service. The LACDA administers the CRCS on behalf of the County of Los Angeles. There are many ways to give back to your community. One BIG way is to volunteer your time.

Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats is a community resource and rescue center that provides services to help quell the feral cat overpopulation in the Los Angeles area. We are an animal rescue dedicated to socializing feral cats and adopting them out to good homes as well as working with the community to find a humane solution to the. LACC Extension speaks to the heart of what this campus is all about reaching out to our community and offering learning opportunities to all ages.

Each season we offer many opportunities: from cooking classes for year olds to comedy writing classes. It is often done near the area where you live, so your own community reaps the benefits of your work. You do not get paid to do community service , but you can include your experience on your resume and college applications.


The Office of Aging and Adult Services (OAAS) administers home and community based long-term care services (HCBS) through various waiver and state plan programs for individuals who are elderly or have disabilities, assisting them to remain in their homes and in the community. CRCS staff works with eligible nonprofits in the community to help court volunteers complete their service.
