Optus internet service difficulties

There may be technical or other reasons that affect your ability to access the service on the 5G network at your address. I dont think even the employees can find it. Has OPTUS gotten so big thatit no longer cares? I am network engineer - no issues on my side.

Erroneously charged for late payment last month- I think this was resolved. This month, received another bill with charge for the cancelled. Again sorted via live chat. Internet was promised last Monday, nothing happened. Technician rescheduled for 18th, still no confirmation.


Promised the free dongle in days, still nothing. Hey optus , Our speed test is. Are you having internet connection issues? Can you please DM us which internet service is this in regards to, I mean NBN, ADSL, Cable or mobile broadband ? Some connections using Fibre to the Node technology cannot achieve typical speeds offered by plans during to physical limitations of the connection. If you are on a Fixed Wireless NBN connection, you will also be limited in the speed of plan you can choose.


Optus Not great service at all.

G network nationwide were related to an earlier failed transmission link in WA. I had optus 4G broadband 500GB and it worked but signal strength varied throughout the day. If you have an old modem then the speeds will be very slow.


Speeds are much better early morning and late night because of less number of people using the service i. Good as a back up internet service but not as your main internet service.
